My ideas for Halloween food, are naturally going to be rather pumpkin biased, as after all this is a site about pumpkins. But you can't have Halloween without pumpkins. It would be like strawberries without cream. So although you can get inspiration for your Halloween party recipes from anywhere on this site, here are some of my favourites for the spookiest holiday of the year. Check out the links to them below the images.
Great party food is always easiest if you have either finger food, or one big dish that people can help themselves. A pumpkin dip is a lovely appetiser with some raw veggie sticks or chips. Some of these recipes can be made long in advance and frozen, which will save you loads of time on the day. The ones which freeze particularly well are the soups, the casserole, and the cheesecake.

These Pumpkin Sausage Muffins are great hand around finger food for a cold night!
A big pumpkin soup, or a winter warming lamb casserole would be excellent with some crusty bread or some baked potatoes.
A huge dish of roasted vegetables would be excellent if you're planning some barbequed meats.
What
if the weather is lovely and warm - then why not try my pumpkin
tortilla (a kind of omelette) and a feta salad to go with it.
You can't go by a traditional pumpkin pie or my absolute favourite, a pumpkin ginger cheesecake for dessert.
A Pumpkin Fudge is a great hand around food for those with a sweet tooth, or use it as a going home gift!
